The third annual Brew in LQ Craft Beer Festival presented by the City of La Quinta is back and taking place Saturday, November 17 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at La Quinta Civic Center Park. Enveloped with spectacular views of the Santa Rosa Mountains, the venue is perfect for attendees 21 and over to enjoy craft beer (and other drink options), live music, delicious food, games, and art. This outside event promises everyone a fun evening under the stars.
Rain or shine you and friends can mingle while enjoying craft beer from a wide variety of local and regional breweries as you treat your taste buds to some of the best eats from the Coachella Valley. This year boasts new breweries to keep everybody hoppy—including Allagash Brewing Company, Anderson Valley Brewing Company, Brewcaipa Brewing Co, Delirium, Humbolt Brewing Company, Lost Coast Brewery, Mission Brewery, Solarc Beer Co, Strand Brewing Co and Track 7 Brewing.
Lets talk about food options. Crowd favorites Big Easy Sandwich and Da Big Show BBQ will be returning, but new this year is It’s Taco Time, La Alteña Mexican Grill. Don’t know how you will choose? Beer is a given by the name, but the event also offers wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. If you need a break from all the fun a new hangout lounge area is available where you can kick back on couches and enjoy good vibes. A merchandise tent will be on site selling exclusive Brew in LQ items to help you remember all the fun and great tastings.
General admission pricing includes ten (10) 4-ounce beer tasting and three (3) wine tastings all poured in a souvenir tasting cup. Ticket prices September 1 – November 16 is $30, at the door purchase is $35 per person. Special pricing is offered to designated drivers for a total of $10, which includes entry and two (2) free non-alcoholic beverages. Brew in LQ benefits the La Quinta Rotary Club programs that include developing the next generation of leaders, providing funding to make the world a better place and making peace a priority. The Rotary Club efforts include health and education services, donating and installing water filtration systems for families in need, and funding scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies.
